The advantage of fruits in particular is that they provide a mouthful of sweetness to satisfy the needs of a dieter much better than a cookie or candy bar. So take it from your mom and eat your fruits and veggies!

Do Not Neglect Exercise

A good low carb diet, just like any other type of weight loss program, will be much more effective if it is backed up by regular exercising. The benefits are obvious: daily workout will help you drop the extra pounds, and you will enjoy an increase in mood, energy and mental abilities. You do not have to overexert yourself by strenuous exercise regimen; regular walking is what you can surely do without stressing yourself. Remember, weight loss is never easy and too fast. A good low carb diet coupled with a regular exercise routine will help you see success in achieving your weight loss goals sooner.
