Let’s start by knowing what exactly is the exhaust system? In its simplest explanation, the system is a series of tubing that are used to move all the waste gases away from a controlled combustion with the engine. It contains various parts such as down pipe, exhaust manifold, catalytic converter, tail pipe, exhaust back box and many more that work altogether to achieve their common goal although each of them particularly plays a different work from another. Moreover, the system is also used to deaden the sound created by the engine. Without its exhaust, you’ll be hearing an unbearable sound that could be hard to take.
